BOOKS OUT LOUD DANCE PARTY!

250 people joined essentials and wünderarts as we celebrated the written word with music, readings, and some dancing at the American Legion in Hadley, MA.

The Books Out Loud Dance Party featured John Hodgman of The Daily Show and The Areas of My Expertise, Thurston Moore of Sonic Youth, Kelly Link, Rachel Sherman, Ed Skoog, and rock phenoms Who Shot Hollywood.

The event was the last on the Museums10BookMarks: A Celebration of the Art of the Book calendar, which concluding in January. For a little taste of what you missed if you weren't there, see it on You Tube. Part 2 of John Hodgman's reading is also online. More video of the event is to come.
